Cialis linked to higher glaucoma risk

The Eyes Have It: Cialis and the Hidden Costs of Long Term Treatment A recent study published in the British Journal of Ophthalmology has linked long term use of tadalafil, commonly known as Cialis, to a higher risk of glaucoma.

While the findings do not prove causation, they suggest that men taking this medication for extended periods should be closely monitored for eye health issues.

The study involved nearly 74,000 men aged 40 or older who had been prescribed tadalafil or another phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor (PDE5i) to manage urinary symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate.
